Be a part of the A/AA Airspace Awards

Australia is internationally recognised for its leadership and innovation. A/AA has been strongly focused on raising the profile of the aviation, aerospace, and space sectors, by engaging with industry organisations and individuals, particularly the diverse people, leaders, and future professionals of tomorrow to provide a suitable platform for the recognition and acknowledgement of outstanding achievements, leadership and innovation excellence.

The Aviation/Aerospace Australia Leadership and Excellence Awards will be presented to individuals, teams and companies who have demonstrated leadership and dedication to the aviation or aerospace sectors in Australia.

Awards Presentation Night

Thursday, 18 April from 6.30pm at the Melbourne Museum in Melbourne, Victoria.

It is expected that a representative of the nominee attends the Awards Presentation Night at their cost.

A/AA is committed to supporting and celebrating the Australian aviation, aerospace, and space sectors, however as a not-for-profit we are unable to cover the cost of tickets for guests/organisations attending in support of the nominated individual/organisation.

Nomination Terms & Conditions

An award category Sponsor cannot apply for an award in the same category that they are sponsoring. However, they may apply and are eligible to win in other award categories. Previous winners can apply for the same award category in consecutive years, but it must be for a different and new project. A/AA companies can apply for awards and will be excluded from voting on that particular award category, but they are eligible to win if voted to be successful by the judges.

Organisations: You may self-nominate your organisation. Please note, at the time of shortlisting you should include a Statement of Support for the judging panel. Individuals: A nomination must be received by a peer, fellow employee, or industry colleague. A point of contact in your current organisation must be provided on the application.  Winners will be selected by a panel comprised of representatives of the A/AA Board of Directors, and industry leaders. Any conflicts of interest will be declared at the commencement of the selection process.  For any further queries please contact info@aviationaerospace.org.au.
